ECHA to Add Eight Substances to Reach ‘High Concern’ List

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) says it will add eight Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) to its list of substances to be controlled under the Authorisation component of the European Union’s (EU) Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (Reach) program. The eight substances that will be subject to Reach Authorisation are di-isobutylphthalate (DIBP); diarsenic trioxide; diarsenic pentaoxide; lead chromate; lead sulfochromate yellow (C.I. Pigment Yellow 34); lead chromate molybdate sulphate red (C.I. Pigment Red 104)...
