ECHA requests more information on proposed restriction of N-methylpyrrolidone

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has requested more information from stakeholders on a proposed restriction of 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, or N-methylpyrrolidone (NMP). ECHA's committee for socioeconomic analysis is developing an opinion on NMP. A specific question has been added to the public consultation currently in progress, namely requesting suggestions for adjustment of the restriction proposal that would ensure a reduction in risk at a lower cost, ECHA says.
