ECHA publishes two new guidance documents concerning biocides

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has published two new guidance documents concerning biocides, the agency announced today. The documents are applicable from 1 September, the date of entry into operation of the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR), ECHA says. The aim of the documents is to provide detailed and practical direction on the study data and other information submitted when applying for active substance approval or authorization of biocidal products.
