ECHA Begins Public Consultation on 20 Potential Substances of Very High Concern

Several European Union (EU) member states and the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) have today proposed labeling 20 chemicals as Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). SVHCs qualify as possible candidates for the authorization phase of the Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (Reach) program.
