ECHA Adds Eight to SVHC List, Includes Trichloroethylene10:04 AM MDT | June 22, 2010 | Alex Scott The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) says it has added eight chemical substances to the candidate list of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). Chemicals that feature on the caxndidate list go through to the authorization phase of the Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation (Reach) program, which requires further data safety analysis and could lead to the substances being restricted or banned.
