ECHA Adds 15 SVHC to Reach2:01 PM MST | December 7, 2009 | KARA SISSELL The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has forwarded an additional 15 substances of very high concern (SVHC) to be added under the Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (Reach) list effective January 1. The substances are proposed due to carcinogenic, mutagenic and/or reproductive toxic (CMR) properties or due to persistent bioaccumulative (PBT) properties.
