Environmental Group Criticizes SVHC List as 'Useless for Consumers'

A list of 203 types of consumer products that contain chemical substances of very high concern (SVHC) published recently by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is “confusing” and “useless for consumers” as it fails to detail specific products, according to environmental group ClientEarth (London). The agency’s list provides information only on the type of consumer goods involved, such as electric cables, plastic bags, inflatable items and packaging materials but fails to name specific products, ClientEarth says.  ...
