ECHA starts public consultation on methyl hydrazine under CLH

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has opened a public consultation for methyl hydrazine under the harmonized classification and labeling (CLH) regulation. The CLH dossier is being submitted by the Netherlands. The hazard class open for comments is carcinogenicity. Methyl hydrazine is a new entry to the CLH annex. The proposed classification is carcinogen 1B, may cause cancer. The deadline for submitting comments is 2 January. Methyl hydrazine has not previously been assessed for harmonized classification by ECHA’s committee for risk assessment...
