White House Signals Flexibility on Endocrine Rules

The White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has advised EPA to use existing data “to the greatest extent possible” to meet the agency’s upcoming data collection requirements for its Endocrine Disruptor Screening Program (EDSP). Industry sees that advice as a welcome sign from the Obama administration that it may be reasonably flexible in allowing industry to use existing data to fulfill the program’s requirements....
