FDA Steps Up Review of Triclosan1:53 PM MDT | April 25, 2010 | KARA SISSELL FDA says it is reviewing the safety of triclosan, an ingredient found in many antibacterial consumer products, after animal studies showed the chemical alters hormone regulation.
