EnviroTech :: Regulatory :: Regulatory: Pesticides DuPont, AgraQuest Partner on Biofungicide3:25 PM MDT | October 24, 2011 | Rebecca Coons DuPont and biopesticide firm AgraQuest (Davis, CA) say they have agreed to jointly develop and distribute a biofungicide based on AgraQuest’s Bacillus pumilus strain QST 2808 in France. The fungicide, trade named DPX RNP31, controls Sclerotinia and other oilseed rape diseases. Under the terms of the agreement, DuPont will commercialize DPX RNP31 for broad-acre fungicide applications. AgraQuest says DPX RNP31 helps address issues related to the impact of pesticides on the environment laid out in EU’s Sustainable Use Directive as well...
