Court Ruling Suspends Spirotetramat Sales

A federal appeals court has invalidated U.S. EPA’s 2003 approval of the Bayer insecticide spirotetramat in the U.S. The court determined that regulators had not followed procedures for allowing public comment and evaluating the chemical’s economic, environmental, and social impacts.
