USPTO Denies Butamax Attempts to Block Patent Review

Gevo (Englewood, CO) says the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has denied a request by rival Butamax Advanced Biofuels (Wilmington, DE) for the agency to nullify Gevo’s request that Butamax’s Patent No. 7,851,188 (‘188) be reexamined.
