Senate Republicans Tally EPA Rules’ Impact on Jobs, Economy9:24 AM MDT | October 12, 2010 | KARA SISSELL Senator James Inhofe (R., OK) has released a report on four EPA regulations advanced during the Obama administration and the costs those are estimated to have on jobs and industry. The report— EPA’s Anti-Industrial Policy: Threatening Jobs and America’s Manufacturing Base— was compiled by Republican members of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, where Inhofe is ranking minority member. The report focuses on EPA’s maximum achievable control technology (MACT) rule for boilers; the revised national ambient air quality standards for ozone; MACT standards for cement plants, and EPA’s endangerment finding and tailoring rule for controlling greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions....
