Obama Leads Challenge to China's Rare Earths Export Quotas

The U.S., European Union (EU), and Japan have launched a legal challenge to China’s restrictions on exports of rare earths. They have jointly requested dispute settlement consultations with China at the World Trade Organization (WTO; Geneva).
