Minnesota Sues 3M for Alleged PFC Contamination3:42 PM MST | January 3, 2011 | KARA SISSELL Minnesota attorney general Lori Swanson says the state has filed a lawsuit against 3M for alleged damage it caused to Minnesota’s ground and surface water by decades of disposing perfluorochemicals (PFCs). 3M and state officials had been negotiating an out-of-court settlement since last May with the guarantee that the state would not file a lawsuit before December 30.
