Lawmakers Introduce Bill Requiring Cost Assessment of EPA Rules

Senators James Inhofe (R., OK) and Mike Johanns (R., NE) recently introduced legislation that would require EPA to assess the total economic impact of several major rules it is preparing to announce, including the maximum achievable control technology (MACT) standards for industrial boilers.
