Gevo wins round in patent brawl with Butamax

A Delaware judge has ruled that Gevo (Englewood, CO) does not infringe two Butamax Advanced Biofuels patents describing enzymes used in the production of biobased isobutanol—the latest development in a two-year patent fray that has seen both sides file multiple infringement claims.
