Gevo Files Additional Infringement Claims Against Butamax

Gevo (Englewood, CO) says it has been awarded an additional patent covering further improvements in the efficiency of biobased production of isobutanol. Gevo says it also filed lawsuits in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Texas, at Marshall, TX, charging infringement of the new patent by DuPont, BP, and their joint venture, Butamax Advanced Biofuels (Wilmington, DE).
