European Commission Approves Acquisition of Mitsubishi Rayon by Mitsubishi Chemical

The European Commission (EC) says it has cleared, under the EU Merger Regulation, the previously announced proposed acquisition of Mitsubishi Rayon by Mitsubishi Chemical. After examining the operation, the EC concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA).
