EPA Plans to Implement 2008 Ozone Standard

EPA administrator Lisa Jackson told lawmakers last week the agency will move to implement the 2008 national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS) for ozone, a decision that helps clarify the agency’s intent following the Obama administration’s decision to drop plans to finalize a more stringent standard.
