China Removes Dumping Measures on PBT Resin from Japan and Taiwan

The Ministry of Commerce (Mofcom; Beijing) has removed China’s antidumping measures for polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) resin imported from Japan and Taiwan, the Chinese government says. The antidumping duties were removed on July 22, 2011. China had imposed the antidumping duties for five years starting 2006. Mofcom announced in January 2011 that it plans to remove the antidumping measures on July 22 and that, industrial representatives and companies in China could file applications to Mofcom, to review the duties.
