China Imposes Deposit on Imported Nylon-6 as Antidumping Measure

The Ministry of Commerce (Mofcom; Beijing) says that China will require a security deposit on imported nylon-6 from the U.S., European Union, Russia, and Taiwan. The decision follows a preliminary ruling by Mofcom, which says these regions have been dumping nylon-6 in the Chinese market and the imports have caused substantial damage to the domestic sector. A final ruling will be issued based on further investigation, Mofcom says.
