Researchers Develop GM Wheat to Repel Aphids

A team of researchers at Rothamsted Research (Harpenden, the U.K.), an agricultural research organization, is conducting a field experiment to test the effectiveness of its genetically modified (GM) wheat which repels aphids. The technology combines modern genetic engineering with the knowledge of Rothamsted scientists on natural plant defences.
