Monsanto Seeks EPA Approval for Refuge-in-the-Bag Trait8:35 AM MDT | July 2, 2010 | Rebecca Coons Monsanto says it has submitted a refuge-in-the-bag option for its Genuity VT Double PRO corn for registration with the U.S. EPA. If approved, the corn would also reduce refuge requirements to 5%, from average refuges that range between 20%-50%, generating significant yield benefits for farmers, Monsanto says.
