Launch of Dow's herbicide-tolerant corn seed delayed until 2014

Dow AgroSciences says the US launch of its Enlist herbicide-tolerant corn trait technology will be delayed because the company is still waiting for regulatory approval. If approved, Enlist will be the first glyphosate-resistant seed of any variety to not include Monsanto’s Roundup Ready (RR) trait, the long-term, near-exclusive use of which has led to growing glyphosate weed resistance.
