High Court Hears Monsanto Appeal of GM Injunction

U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments recently in a landmark biotechnology case that attorneys say will influence grower acceptance of genetically modified (GM) crops. The high court is hearing Monsanto’s appeal of a lower court injunction preventing the company from selling Roundup Ready alfalfa, GM strain resistant to Monsanto’s glyphosate-based herbicide, Roundup Ready.
