EU to Require Limited Divestment as part of Syngenta’s Sunflower Acquisition

The European Commission has cleared Syngenta’s acquisition of Monsanto’s global sunflower seeds business. The deal combines two leading sunflower seed suppliers in Europe, with significant breeding activities.
