EPA seeks comments on proposed approval of Dow's Enlist herbicide

EPA announced yesterday that it was opening up a 30-day public comment period about its proposed decision to register Dow Chemical’s Enlist Duo herbicide—a proprietary blend of 2,4-choline and glyphosate—for use on genetically engineered corn and soybean, moving the potentially blockbuster technology closer to commercial launch. “In its review, the EPA acknowledged the significant scientific advancements Dow AgroSciences has achieved with Enlist Duo herbicide,” says Damon Palmer, U.S. commercial leader for Enlist, Dow AgroSciences...
