DuPont Receives EPA Approval for Single-Bag Refuge Corn

DuPont says its  Pioneer Hi-Bred business has received EPA approvals for its  Optimum AcreMax and Optimum AcreMax Xtra single-bag refuge corn  products. The Optimum AcreMax product, which is comprised of 95% hybrid seeds containing Herculex 1 and YieldGard traits and 5% of a similar non Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt)  herbicide-tolerant hybrid seed, is the first single-bag integrated refuge product that targets only above-ground insects, DuPont says.
