States Seek to Intervene in Industry Suit Challenging EPA Endangerment Finding

State regulators are seeking legal “standing” to intervene in a lawsuit brought by industry groups challenging EPA’s decision that certain greenhouse gases (GHGs) constitute an endangerment to public health. The lawsuit, filed by industry in late December, seeks a “petition for review” of EPA’s endangerment finding, but does not provide details.
