The projects include reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in developing countries, biomass utilization, renewable energy projects and generation of emissions credits from those activities. Marubeni has for sometime been active in GHG emission reduction projects outside Japan for which it has been obtaining emissions credits, which it provided to Japanese buyers, including the Japanese government...
