Leading U.N. Climate Official Heads to KPMG9:56 AM MST | March 1, 2010 | Ian Young Yvo de Boer has announced his resignation as executive secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC; Bonn, Germany), effective July 1. De Boer is leaving UNFCCC to become global advisor on climate and sustainability at consulting firm KPMG, and he will work with a number of universities.
