Industry’s Climate Advocacy Goes Local

The American Chemistry Council (ACC) has shifted its advocacy on federal climate legislation to the state and local level, including paid television and Internet spots and the micro Web site www.asmarterfuture.com. The campaign has shifted into high gear as U.S. Senate lawmakers prepare to take up climate legislation that will have to be reconciled with the bill passed last June by the House.
