Industrial Biotech Could Save 2.5 Billion m.t./year of CO2

Environmental group WWF has called for stronger political backing of the industrial biotech sector so that its potential may be fully realised. WWF says that the broad adoption of industrial biotech processes could save between 1 billion and 2.5 billion m.t./year of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2030.
