EPA Sets Clock Ticking on Climate By Finalizing ‘Endangerment’ Finding

EPA has issued the agency’s final rule establishing that greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions constitute an “endangerment” of public health. The agency’s progress on the endangerment finding has galvanized industry representatives who say that approach is by far the least effective way to regulate GHG emissions. With progress on climate legislation so far eluding Congress, however, the endangerment finding and EPA’s subsequent GHG emissions rule for cars and trucks could end up requiring facilities to include GHGs in their Title V...
