Comparing GHG Reporting Among Largest Chemical Firms

An analysis of the practices for reporting greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) at top companies in Chemical Week’s 2009 billion-dollar club reveals a wide variety of reporting practices and varying results. Many top companies, including Ineos, Sabic and LyondellBasell, do not report GHG emissions. Among those that do report, including BASF, Dow and DuPont, disclosure results and practices tend to vary.
