Carbon Price Needed to Spur CCS Development10:43 AM MDT | August 16, 2010 | Vincent Valk The lack of a comprehensive federal climate policy, including a carbon price, is the key obstacle to full-scale development to full-scale deployment of carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies, according to the report of a federal interagency task force. The task force, established by President Obama in February, included more than 100 officials and was co-chaired by the head of the Department of Energy (DOE; Washington) and EPA.
