U.S. Awards $47 Million in Biofuels Research Projects2:15 PM MDT | May 9, 2011 | Nancy Seewald The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) have awarded a total of $47 million to fund eight R&D projects in the fields of biofuels, bionenergy and biobased products. Grant recipients must contribute a minimum of 20% of matching funds for R&D work and 50% for demonstration projects.
