MHI and Partners Complete Work on Cellulosic Bioethanol Process

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and its partners, Hakutsuru Sake Brewing Co., and Kansai Chemical Engineering Co., have completed work to develop technology to produce ethanol for use as auotomobile fuel based on soft cellulose derived from rice and barley straw.
