EPA Delays Ethanol Blending Decision

EPA says it will delay its decision on whether to allow increased ethanol content in fuel pending the availability of more testing. The agency says completed tests indicate engines of new cars can handle an ethanol blend higher than the current 10% limit, but the emissions impacts of extended mileage needs to be determined. EPA also says it will begin to craft the necessary labeling requirements for higher blends.
