EPA, DOE Evaluate Using Blighted Sites for Renewables Production9:51 AM MST | March 1, 2010 | Nancy Seewald The U.S. EPA and the Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (Golden, CO) have formed a partnership to evaluate the feasibility of developing renewable energy production on Superfund, brownfields, and former landfill or mining sites.
