US sets tariffs of up to 250% on photovoltaic cells from China

The US Department of Commerce has set final tariffs of about 18–250% for solar photovoltaic cells imported from China, a decision that drew sharp criticism from Chinese officials. The tariffs are subject to review next month by the US International Trade Commission. Companies in US have argued that China has been selling solar panels at prices well below cost.
