U.S. Senate Rejects Natural Gas Subsidies

The U.S. Senate has rejected an amendment that would have subsidized natural gas vehicles, a measure industry groups had opposed. The Senate vote, 51-47, fell short of the 60 votes needed to push it through as part of a transportation funding bill.
