Total and Amyris Expand Renewable Fuels Partnership

Total and Amyris (Emeryville, CA) have signed agreements to expand their current R&D partnership and form a joint venture to develop, produce and commercialize a range of renewable fuels and products. The companies have agreed to expand their collaboration to accelerate the deployment of Biofene and develop renewable diesel based on the molecule produced from plant sugars.
