EU Parliament committee agrees on plan to cut use of traditional biofuels, accelerate shift to advanced biofuels

The European Parliament’s voted today in support of an agreement struck by legislators. Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) and ministers moved closed to an agreement on plans to restrict production of “traditional” biofuels and to accelerate the shift to “advanced” biofuels derived from alternative sources.
