Yara will Sell Assets to Secure Clearance for GrowHow Deal

The European Commission has approved Yara International’s (Oslo) previously announced acquisition of Kemira GrowHow (Helsinki), subject to Yara divesting several assets (CW, May 30/June 6, p. 5). Yara and GrowHow are the biggest and second-biggest producers of fertilizers in Western Europe, respectively. Yara is the global leader in fertilizers.
