U.S. Patent Reform ‘Disappoints’ BIO

Biotech industry association BIO (Washington) says it is “disappointed” by the Patent Reform Act that the U.S. House of Representatives recently passed (p. 49). BIO cannot support the act, says BIO president and CEO Jim Greenwood. The bill, which the Senate has not yet voted on, “threatens continued biotechnological innovation,” the association says.
