The program was detailed at a recent conference on drug counterfeiting held by MHRA in London. U.K. has become a major distribution point for counterfeit drugs partly because a U.K. stamp on packaging adds an air of authenticity to products, MHRA says. MHRA says there have been nine known cases of counterfeit prescription-only medicines reaching patients through the legal supply chain in the U.K...
