Tosoh replaces bromine-based solvent with non-halogen product

Tosoh says that it will begin this month the manufacture and sale of a new industrial cleaning solvent that it has developed independently at the company’s Nanyo complex at Shunan, Japan. HA-IS16 is an environmentally friendly, non-halogen, nonflammable cleaning solvent that has cleaning, drying, recovery, and safety properties, Tosoh says.
